Our fundraising campaign runs March thru July. We had kick off on March 13th and are well on our way to our 300k usd goal for Second Life's Relay! Already we have raised over $85,000 usd :)
It is not to late to register a team if you would like to do that! Just go to www.relayforlife.org/secondlife and click the register button at the top of the page.
You will be assigned a team mentor who will contact you in a day or so and help you get started and with all the info you will need!
If you do not want to be on a team but would like a donation kiosk or vendor for your SL business or venue let me know! If you simply want to participate in our Relay around the Track (spanning 40 sims) in July, more information will come on that soon!
If you join the SL's RFL volunteer group you will get information via team captains about RFL events going on around the grid.
If you have any questions at all about RFL of SL, please feel free to contact me.
RFL for SL 2010Posted by Rob Tuesday, March 02 2010 21:09:41 In a view days the first teams for RFL 2010 will/can register. Of
course I participate. One of the things I will do is encourage the
teams to advertise their events. Advertise their events all over the
place. ACS has developed a brand new
superdooperfantastalicformidalodoosjes tool. To lift a small tip of the
curtain, here are some Youtubes.
The Youtube movies of Dwen
explain how to use the event boads of RFL in SL 2010. One of my jobs in
this years RFL will be to encourage and remind the team captains to go
ADVERTISE as much as possible. This event board made by Dwen is a great
tool, events for RFL2010 will be advertised allover the grid.
